Selena Gomez Prank Reality Show Eyed By Disney Channel, As Boyfriend Bieber Fronts Similar Format For MTV

The couple that pranks together, stays together! Like, OMG, you guys — pop super-couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez both have upcoming TV shows about the exact same thing.

Awkward.

Justin Bieber is a frontrunner in chats to host MTV’s revival of Punk’d, the popular Ashton Kutcher reality show that played cruel-but-hilarious pranks on unsuspecting celebrities. Meanwhile, his cute-as-a-button GF Selena’s reportedly scored the job fronting a new Disney Channel series about — You Guessed it — cruel-but-hilarious pranks on unsuspecting Disney celebrities.

“Selena shot the pilot and it’s basically like Ashton Kutcher’s old show, Punk’d, but with the Disney kids,” blabs an informant-type close to Selena and Zoo Productions, the company behind the still-untitled show. “Selena was having a ton of fun with it. She’s a goof ball at heart.”

Dun dun! So either Selena will be asking Justin for advice on the best way to make their fellow celebs look like idiots — or they’ll be squabbling about who ripped off who.

Promoter of Justin Bieber’s My World Tour Malaysia told Express Magazine: “Justin is absolutely stunning when you have a personal encounter. He looks better than any of the pictures you’ve seen. Selena is pretty and very sweet in person. They were cuddling, hugging, holding hands and, very apparently, totally in love. Justin’s mom was around too, most of the time, and you can see that she is completely supportive of the relationship.”

Did Bieber get Malaysian national dish, nasi lemak?

According to concert promoter, Justin and Selena hardly stepped out of the presidential suite in Kuala Lumpur Hilton. So, obviously there was a lot of room serviced meals. The duo ordered nasi goreng, satay and —wait for it—Yes! Nasi lemak too. Local fruits and guava juice were also in the mix. We’re assuming no durian is allowed on hotel premises, so you know what that means for those who were rooting for #DurianForBieber.
